Research

The Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) is mandated to improve the quality and delivery of health care services to the Filipino people through the development of traditional and alternative health care and its integration into the national health care delivery system.

However, in October 2015 the PITAHC Board of Trustees affirmed that our thrust is not manufacturing, but research. PITAHC encourages
interested parties to submit research proposals that can contribute towards raising the overall health status of the country through a dynamic mix of traditional and complementary medicine.
